Losers Weepers

President Trump willfully destroyed the White House without consultation and without authorization from Congress to do so.

As a result, it should now be his legal obligation to rebuild the White House at his own expense, out of the $280 billion that he has awarded to himself and his family during his presidency.

Historically, no U.S. president had derived personal financial gain from holding office.

By tearing down the East Wing—a space that once housed the private offices of former First Ladies—to make way for a $300 million ballroom, he fundamentally changed a historic public building.

The White House belongs to the American people, not to any one president, and anyone who fundamentally alters it for personal benefit should be required to restore it at their own expense.
