There seems to be traction around the Lindsay Clancy case. This young woman who murdered her three children certainly calls attention to the growing mental health problems of young Americans today. It almost seems that there is a generational depression. It’s hard to know how much is due to Trump and how much is due to a general mental condition in the nation. It is obvious that when a young woman kills her three children, she is sick, sick, sick and is in desperate need of mental care. But she is not alone. This nation should be requiring the need for early mental care, health, and awareness for all children. Attention should be given at earlier stages in schools, assess where each child is at, and find the problems earlier on in their lives to help deal with their personal issues and mental health. This would help to develop coping mechanisms and ways to achieve a stable mental state before they become murderers, like Clancy.
